Yes, the first Halo is notoriously unforgiving. It’s also even more unforgiving if you’re not used to console shooters. It took my ex like 2 years to beat it because she would get stuck on parts and get mad and not touch it for a month or whatever. It’s got that old school game vibe where it really wants you to grind for the win.
