I doubt that the current admin of the US would do anything because sadly like QT said for US standards it's free speech in the current US interpretation of it. Here (Germany) the threat of a crime alone can be punishable by up to 2 years in prison. (StGB §241) That said enforcement is a whole different question...

He went to that length towards himself....There is being suicidal without harming anyone else, but at the point they do something like this guy did, you cannot rely on them not to harm other people as well. Every streamer in the US should own a gun and should go to the range often and should practice readying their weapon to the point that it is muscle memory.

I didn’t realize that I was receiving DMs for months from a random guy that had found me from that and replied to every story I posted in a similar way to how maya was describing. He had found my fathers business and even set up an appointment there (he did not live in my area but was “conveniently visiting”). I blocked him right after I found out and didn’t hear from him for months until he found my fb. And then months after that he showed up to my dads work and dropped off a letter essentially asking my dad to give me to him. It’s been like 2 years now that I haven’t heard from him but i still get worried. And again I’m just a normal person, it just takes getting unlucky with a delusional person. Don’t put your full name on a public social media account yall.😭

I had one show up to my house regularly after being told not to sooo many times, run out in front of my car, leave "gifts" at my doorstep... just to be told by police he was a fully documented schizophrenic person who was off his meds, had recently attacked his mother, but to the cop he "seemed harmless". The worst part is I was only able to see relief when he had been arrested for SA of a minor. They will never do ANYTHING until its too late. Bonus: I'm being told he may be released if he is deemed unable to stand trial! My only options are to get a gun and have 911 on speed dial.
