As a teenager, i can say yes i say skibidi. It is a nonsense word. I can mean good and bad just like google said, it is mostly bad tho. “Stop being so skibidi and be sigma like me.”

2024-08-18 19:55:04 +0000 UTCi am 20 years old and i have two 16 year old brothers. myself and my friends don’t say skibidi toilet, honestly it makes me feel old that i don’t really get it. my little brothers say it, but only ironically. according to them it seemed to originally be a reference to the video, but has evolved into nothingness that they just say to make each other laugh/cringe. idk though man i was literally born in 2004, but it makes me feel ancient.

I told him you guys were trying to figure out the meaning and he said that's so embarrassing 😂 But basically as other's have said, it's a filler/catch all word that you have to use context to figure out the meaning each time. a lot of preteens use it unironically, most teens use it ironically and teens that use it unironically are considered weird lol. All of them use it because it's just funny to say. If you ask my brother a yes/no question sometimes he'll answer skibidi and i just have to guess based on his tone whether he means yes or no. I think a lot of brainrot slang is used ironically and because it's funny/ridiculous but younger kids don't understand that so they adopt it seriously into their language

2024-07-31 12:26:35 +0000 UTCWhen I was a teenager my friends group used to always come up with new modifiers that are purely based on context clues and I think skibidi is just that, it can mean cool, it can more more or extra, it can substitute a swear word used to emphasize something. I could be wrong though. I am australian and so we are used to having context based slang here, like most swear words have contextual and tonal meanings outside their dictionary meanings and are used a lot.

I heard skibidi said at least 5000 times last year, they would say it most commonly by saying something stupid like "you're so skibidi" or "that's so skibidi". Sometimes they would call someone a skibidi rizzler. I think they just use it interchangeably with cool, or a lot of the time say it just to make noise. I don't think they really know what it means either.

There was a tiktok song parody of the song ecstasy by suicide idol where they changed the lyrics to ironically use all the modern gen alpha slang “sticking out your gyatt for the rizzler, you’re so skibidi, your so fanum tax, I just want to be your sigma, freaking come here, give me your Ohio” so it’s origin of being used as an adjective is satirical of gen alpha brain rot from the start. All in all the joke itself is that it’s meaningless when used as an adjective, which is making fun of the way an adult would interpret it, like a mom saying “are you pokemoning?” Or an esl mom saying “go see a star war”
