My husband danced with me to a totally different song and I am incredibly happy that our first dance was not the original song. I kinda cringe thinking about what I thought was a meaningful song is now tainted with Kane's actions.

2024-07-08 15:08:07 +0000 UTCIf you're going to jump on the MJ slander train, you should at least do yourself a favor and read the mountain of evidence from court cases, the FBI, and more about how both the original case was an attempt at blackmail and completely fabricated by the child's father and the cases thereafter jumped on the same train. Even in the leaving neverland documentary, it is filled with falsehoods and lies from the two men, testifying on impossibilities, claiming abuse took place when it's verifiable fact MJ was in a different country at the time. It is incredibly important to help and protect those who have been abused and hurt, I would know, but things need to go through scrutiny otherwise you're just making things up and going with it. If all you do is watch a movie that was made for the sole purpose of convincing you of something, without looking into the facts behind it, including what the men themselves have said, you're doing all abuse survivors a disservice and should be ashamed.

I’ve seen a Fear& episode where he’s brought up and idolized and it seems like QT gets uncomfortable but doesn’t want to make a fuss about it. I totally get it because I’ve done the same thing in family/friend group situations and I’m not on having those conversations on the internet. Unsure if the documentary just didn’t get enough attention or people refuse to believe it, but it’s very convincing and upsetting to watch. I have a pit in my stomach thinking QTs going to get so much hate for this and end up regretting saying anything but I hope that the exposure you brought outweighs it.

That said I think he did it as well but also documentaries are usually one sided and bias. Rarely do they explore both sides and potential explanations for both arguments. They’re made to try and make you believe one point
