You take such good care of him” things like that and then when we started the “breakup process” his mother was in shambles saying she didn’t know how HE was going to get through it. But really I think she knew she’d have to baby him again because I did all the work for him during our relationship.

But, that was from having a better job, so I could afford to eat healthier and spending hours teaching myself about how to be in tune with my body and my confidence(since discovering my style was a huge factor as well). I think money and stress are the biggest variables in societal attractiveness. Money for top of the line skincare and then access to relieve stress as prevention. I remember when I was like 26/27 and thinking, “welp, that’s it, my hot years are gone” and I was wrong :)

2023-11-29 00:14:46 +0000 UTCas a guy raised in texas, the story with gina really stuck with me. women doing EVERYTHING for their male partner is expected in the south. like last year the family drama at thanksgiving was the fact that my brother’s girlfriend didn’t serve him his food. it sounds like the brother found a girl who’s been raised with the exact traditional behaviors that he wants and he’s taken advantage of it. it’s a weird situation cause on one hand it’s definitely a relationship that at least partially relies on misogynistic gender roles, but on the other hand it’s most likely all she knows how to be in a relationship.
