With patients that get anxious about medication I was taught the sometimes low dose extended release medications can solve the problem. Before I got over my discomfort of taking meds I took supplements in the morning and my psychiatrist would have me just toss in me extended release (you name it) anxiety medication. I thought he was insane when he told me to just give this a try at first but when it worked I was really pleasantly surprised.
