Is it possible to make a killing as an English teacher in Eastern Europe? Sure—if by “killing” you mean scraping together just enough to afford stale bread and something like vodka. Maybe, if you hustle hard enough, land a cushy gig at a private school, and spend your weekends tutoring bratty kids who can’t conjugate "to be," you might hit the lofty heights of $3000-$4000 a month. Not bad, considering the region’s economy, but hardly the golden ticket to a life of luxury.

Enter Alla: a modest, overworked teacher who’d had it up to her chalk-dusted elbows with this endless grind of lesson plans and hustling for spare cash. Sick of the hamster wheel, she did what any resourceful, broke educator might secretly consider—she said screw it and dipped her toes into the world of webcam modeling.
