This was meant to be a Juicy July picture but hey, at the time this was posted it's still July somewhere...
In a different reality separate from the one with the ongoing WG epidemic story arc (that I REALLY should be getting back to sometime...), Winona has decided to abandon genetic sciences and arms dealing to pursue a more fulfilling career in candy making. Carol joined her cause she has nothing better to do, but Winona makes her wear a costume... for reasons. She bargained enough to forgo the orange facepaint, at least. So they set out to draw some lucky winners who would be able to get a tour of the brand new candy factory. Unluckily for Win, it coincidentally ended up being people she knows and is annoyed by, and Erica. So now she has to deal with the aftermath of letting these people loose in her new factory.
Erica ended up "accidentally" falling into the chocolate mixing canals and got sucked into a pipe, the liquid fudge flowing straight into her mouth plumping her up until she got too big and stuck inside. Luckily, Winona's trusty assistant Carol shut down the chocolate flow before she could get too big to burst out of the pipe, and her clothing. They could have come back for her later during the tour, but instead part of the pipe had to be cut off and moved around with a hook attached to an elaborate wire system on the ceiling. Winona's not leaving anyone behind, she doesn't trust anyone to be left alone with her stuff.
Next up was the indoor greenhouse room where Winona was experimenting with fruits. Look, she's still a scientist at heart. Anywho, Bunessa hadn't had any breakfast that morning because of her sister once again using the contents of her side of the fridge to vandalize the property of those who had slighted her. All those fruits and vegetables wasted. Lauren, with a devious smile on her face, offers her sister a giant blueberry she plucked from one of Winona's experimental trees or whatever, and Bunessa, in a moment of hunger-induced out-of-characterness takes the fruit and eats it, not knowing where it came from. What, you thought this was going to involve gum? Hey, I can deviate from the source material this is parodying if I wanted to. Anyway, Bunessa found herself getting full upon eating said fruit. More full than she'd hoped she'd be as she had found herself grown into a massive blueberry. Turns out the fruits in the lab were meant to be used for their extracts and not to be eaten whole. Instead of having her juiced, Winona has Bunessa be rolled around with the tour group since nobody else is there to juice Bunessa. If she was left alone in that state, who knows what she could end up rolling and crashing into. Winona wants to get this tour over with so that she can get these ingrates out of her factory.
Next up, at the strange liquids room, Rachel (who has only appeared in one sequence that you voted for in the past and has not been formally introduced yet but I needed another character for this) was feeling thirsty so she snagged one of the drinks without even asking and chugged it down. Winona yells at Rachel, for she had ingested her untested literal root beer float that was supposed to make its drinker literally float. At least she knows it works now. Winona ties Rachel down to a "crawling weight" that she invented ages ago. Now I could go into detail about the crawling weight and how it can extend and contract spider legs to let it move about, but do you REALLY want to know about that and not the candy hijinks going on? Thought so.
Lauren has been enjoying the tour but mostly for the misfortune that befell those around her. Seeing her sister turn into a blueberry that had to be rolled around was hilarious. So was what happened to the other two but her sister's misfortunes shine above all else. The next stop on the tour was... uh... (c'mon LWB, make something up!) the... uh... I dunno, the "Chocolate Virtual Experience" and I guess it shrinks her down so she can experience being the size of a chocolate bar or something. I'm just making this up as we go. Anyway, Carol is ecstatic about this because she's no longer the shortest person she knows. She dangles Lauren by her scarf to prevent her from causing any trouble plus it's fun treating her like she was a yoyo. Just hope she doesn't get Lauren's mouth near her fingers.
By the end of the tour, Winona is pissed. Running a chocolate factory was more stressful than she'd think so she wants to go back to being an arms dealer and doing unethical science experiments. Selling transformation rayguns and chemicals to creeps was less taxing on the mind. At least when she experiments on people, she does it on purpose! So she figures she'd just leave the factory to the one person who didn't get into any trouble during the tour, (Makohiro). The moment she talks about converting it into a cheese factory was the last straw for Winona. She rescinds the offer, blows up the factory with C-5 (the stronger version of C-4) and leaves. She doesn't even bother getting everyone back to normal, she's just been drained by the whole day that she just wants to get home and fall into her mattress to soothe her aching body.
Ratgirl was nice enough to take care of everyone until she was able to figure out how to reverse the effects of their tour after like a week or something, but getting everyone over to her manor in the woods was tough, especially rolling Bunessa uphill. Once Lauren got back to her normal size, Carol was found hanging upside down from a tree the next day due to her actions.
Cindy and Laramie were just sitting on the porch drinking lemonade during the day of the factory. They were never made aware of this entire incident.
HOLY CRAP this was the absolute longest description I've wrote for something. This picture took quite a while to do. Everyone got new outfits for this too, just to justify Bunessa wearing something different than her usual two or three outfits besides the dialogue gag. Originally it was just supposed to be a Bunessa picture for Juicy July that was supposed to be released earlier in the month, but I just kept adding on stuff since I had recently watched the 2005 movie with friends for its 20th anniversary and I got some inspiration on what I could do to my OCs. Plus I wanted to have Carol and Winona in something again. I really want to do more with them since they're a good catalyst in turning my other OCs into stuff through science, I feel I've leaned too hard onto magic with Laramie. Their influence still does linger on since Cindy got her fattening raygun from Winona. So does the epidemic arc still happen in other realities besides the one that directly focuses on it? Yeah I guess. The realities thing is just an excuse to do different scenarios without having to address what exactly happened to the characters after Cindy and Laramie's reign of terror, but also to justify Laramie's implied existence in them since she and Cindy canonically meet BECAUSE of Cindy's conquest. That's a constant that will never be retconned! Maybe the arc will properly continue someday...
