Dev Log 0.50a: Extreme Handholding

Wow, this is the latest I've been in a while!

Really... it's my own fault... I did not escape rimworld like I though. Rookie mistake. Sent me off on a wild tangent, destroyed my week... So I'm now a whole day late! Though next week is not behind schedule.

Then, we had a scene request, an extension to the Haily date so cannonical stuff and everything! The problem was, too many good ideas. Hard to fit them all in and not have the scene blow out to something unreasonable! Overall, I'm not sure any of my ideas made the cut... just goes to show the power of teamwork.

But after that, it's time to push forward with Jenny. Today we have the narrative finally of her C4, both paths. I'm not sure if people saw this coming, but if you missed what's about to go down then a few things are about to make sense and will shepherd her into a wonderful C5.

Anyway... I suppose the elephant in the room is this seasons payment processor rampage. They sweep through to make the rounds every couple of years. Adult games on itch are delisted until this situation is resolved, a bunch of games are getting taken down (by what I would guess is an automated search) and sweeping statements are being made. In general this is being handled as terribly as these always are.

I'm extremely fortunate to not have to worry about this too much as despite my entire livelyhood being threatened, I'm not likely to be hit by this wave. I pre-emptively do my best to comply with things that might be objectionable. This will blow over but not everyone is going to survive it because, quite frankly, the adult industry is treated like a joke and it's easier for people to do their curtsy and lop off a few heads than treat us fairly. Then a bunch of puritanical executives congratulate themselves on protecting consenting people from things they want to see.

I would like to suggest that if you live in a place that has relevant laws, do what you can to sign up for actual petitions that might make a difference. They'll basically be about "Stop censorship by credit card companies".
