Okie dokie, a week of Haily work... so some big things are in the future. That being said it also seemed appropriate to fix up a few usability things that had been kicking around for a while.
So as for new things, it is all packed into essentially the one Haily scene. If you've talked to her before instead of the previous photo quest you'll get a finalising of report quest where you can tell her more about your weekend at the cabin. If this gets her love high enough, well then, you can now unlock her next corruption level. That being said I was in charge of this one event that had a surprising amount of writing, as well as rejiggering a whole pile of things. Everyone else was really filling out Haily C2... which isn't in this at all! So yeah, that empty backlog... it aint empty no more! That thing is mega full.
Beyond that there are some usability fixes as I said. so the first thing I did was fix the end run button (it has a confirm dialogue). It now is an actual button living in the top left so you can get out of a run quickly. Besides that I then made the guides accesible from the end of run menu, it is in the help and guides section next to their on/off buttons. But really that presented another problem... at times the conversation map can be super hard to read, especially if it happens to appear over a large wall of white text... so I added a readability mode that just blacks out the background entirely and it's another simple toggle box in the top left.
Anyway, I have more to say for story time and general dev experience but I'm a bit tired so I think I'll have a nap instead.
