I really experimented a lot with filters and gradient maps. Found the perfection lowering opacity to 20% on the gradient map

Anyways I'm really satisfied with the result! The client is happy too ^^

YESSSS gradient maps my beloved ... i've found 20% to be a sweet point as well, soft light/overlay/colour are the layer types i use for them usually. but this looks so lovely!! absolutely love the lineart for it cause it's got such nice flow and focal points 😭
