Stages of growth

Mary Adventures (Prologue)

Something new

So, the game I was making on Unity is currently fading into the background. Now it's still better to make a game on Ren'py, it's really easier xD..

Some problems

Well, I have difficulties in creating some systems, in particular, correctly storing data. It seems that I am really weak in this and the solution will take some time. It's probably stupid to say this now, but do I really have to continue making the game on Unity or switch to Ren'py? This will speed up the process of creating the game at times, and in terms of the graphic part, it will most likely be better.

Phone, bug fixes

I decided to add a phone, because adding a bunch of buttons to the main screen spoils the overall picture, and as for me it looks more beautiful, as you can see, quests will be displayed here, information about characters will be displayed in contacts. I also made a day and night shift, fixed a couple of bugs, slightly redesigned the dialog system and am making a working system for saving and loading the game.

Textures and sprites

I made sketches of the interior and the city. There are many empty spaces that still need to be filled and ergonomically arranged sprites. I did a little interior of the kitchen and bathroom. I also worked on a complete translation of the menu into other languages, I had to change the fonts.

UI update and multilingualism

At the moment, I was working on the graphic part of the game, so that with various mini-games it would be nice to watch the picture, for example, when training in the gym, it was clear that the character was lifting weights, and not just the progress scale was rising.

Menu and UI

I worked on the settings and changed the fonts. So far, the statistics menu looks like this. I'm still thinking how to arrange sprites in the interiors of houses and streets). In the interface of the mini-game in the gym, there is some kind of bug with a trigger, I will decide what kind of bullshit. I will also finish the system of saving / loading the game.

Briefly about the creation stage

3 locations have been created: an apartment, a city part, a gym, and in each of them the player interacts.

Inventory, the simplest dialogue with an NPC in the gym. 

A mini-game in the gym with which the player gains experience. 

A store where you can buy gym membership and protein bars.(More items will be added in the future)
