that's very true. Some of the other contestants saw him as some sort of god and was always volunteering him for stuff when he himself didn't, it must have put a ton of pressure on him like you said. I def see what u mean by them using him as a crutch or insurance at times. Heeseung seems like the type to always help others over himself and that can be a detriment when you do it too much. Like i mentioned he's a go with the flow peacemaker type.

2023-02-06 16:38:40 +0000 UTCHonestly throughout all of I-Land I just feel really bad for heeseung ngl. He always was under immense pressure to perform amazingly and help everyone else too. I get why he and Jungwon switched and I think it was sweet that Heeseung essentially gave up a potentially high score after being praised for part 2 cos he didn't want Junwon to be eliminated. But hes always used as a crutch or insurance to take over other people's parts that are too difficult and at times I felt like he was almost TOO selfless bless. Like I know you're skilled and wanna help people but its a competition dude bless him though. and Jungwon killed part 2 so it worked out I guess.

2023-02-03 14:14:49 +0000 UTCi don't think that them saying that they wanted to be idol after watching bts is a sponsor. a lot of them said that even before. a lot of them even joined that specific company because of bts so no sponsor needed when talking about your dream. also it's not a reach to say that the success that bts enjoyed is one that no other idol experienced to this day, so for them to wish to be like them is a way to say that they want to be successful to BTS level. I know a sponsor when i see one ( like the bts galaxi phones and stuff) and i don't think this is one. after all it does not benefit bts in any way to say that they are their role model. but instead, it would make sense that they edited it that way because bangtan is coming next episode.
