This week I went back to the basics because I realised over my drawing hiatus that I'm feeling a little rusty around the fundamentals and would like to improve my efficiency both in anatomical work but also accuracy in posing.
For that I'm aiming to do 30-40 minute studies at least every other day, using the nice and easy tool that you can access on https://quickposes.com/en
To help with line hesitancy I'm keeping to shorter indervals of five minutes max. This way I'm "forcing" myself to find quicker access to a pose itself, placing the lines more confidently and keeping them as is in favor of putting down as much as I can of the figure from the reference.
After finishing the quick studies, I sometimes like to do one with a bit more time on hand or drawing without reference, just to see if i could warm my drawing muscles up properly.
One thing I certainly realised is the work I have to put in for female bodies, who - at least when it comes to references - oftentimes tend to be more soft. I'm very much used to the male form but with women I certainly need a little more time to be confident, same for drawing other bodies.
I really much would like to expand my repertoir. tho💪
