I really, really wanted the Eye to get Hermit. To the point where I was actually shouting at the screen for it to get him when Hermit was knocked out on the floor. It would've been so much more interesting if he'd been the host.

2025-10-22 02:31:36 +0000 UTCI’m still very conflicted with this show. It meandered for way too long in the middle and I don’t think this episode is a very good payoff. It really feels like this could have been 5 or 6 episodes, and they stretched it to 8, which is annoying. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll watch a season 2 whenever it releases (though I don’t think it’s been announced yet). Also FYI if it wasn't obvious, but Kavalier's right-hand-man is insinuated to be the "second father" he mentioned in his speech.
