2024-10-13 23:04:40 +0000 UTCI figured Rita calling the relationship sick would really strike a nerve with the kids. Just so many tears from both sides, sad and angry alike. I liked how Lynn brought Luna and Sam’s relationship into the discussion as a point of comparison to hers and Lincoln’s. At one point in time, same-sex relationships were viewed as wrong and taboo. And there are some people out there who still feel it is illegal, immoral and sick. But that never stopped those particular couples from fighting for the love and happiness they believed in. And even if their circumstances vary slightly, it still won’t stop Lincoln and Lynn from fighting for their own love and happiness. Lincoln and Lynn are the hammers, while Rita and Lynn Sr. are the nails. And the kids are trying their hardest to hammer their point home. I just love how Lincoln put his foot down and poured his heart out – this love is the real deal! His determination and dedication to making this relationship work with Lynn is so admirable and inspiring. Because no matter how sick, confused or crazy the parents think their children are, they will not be swayed or deterred! And if Rita and Lynn Sr. are unable to see reason or understand where Lincoln and Lynn are coming from, then sadly, I suppose they never will.
