Yes, I know it is cliche now that people of my generation have retroactively tried to turn the prequels into art, and while I wouldn't go that far—with the absolute mess that was the handling of the structure of the sequel series we at least get a W for being able to at least string together a cohesive story for three installments. Not to mention Padmé is tragically one of the most well-developed women in the Star Wars main canon—no, I will not be taking questions at this time. And for all the issues with Hayden Hayden Christensen's performance as Anakin in the films, the character struggle of Anakin and his arc from a young boy to Darth Daddy Vader is interesting. To me, the tragedy of Anakin can be seen in my favorite line from The Phantom Menace: “I’m a person, and my name is Anakin.”
Torn between: How The Jedi Built a Sith Lord or Why Anakin Deserved Better for a click-bait, but accurate title lol
