3 Questions for Future Watch Party/Movie Nights
Added 2023-01-09 21:15:04 +0000 UTCI have been using Crowdcast because it lets us watch movies without getting dinged by copyright. However, I have found that it is hard for people to find, and not everyone is aware of it. So I have a few questions:
1)What would be the best way to keep you informed of those events?
2) Would you like the day for the Movie Nights changes? It is generally on a Sunday. If so which day do you think works better?
3) Is there another platform you would prefer to Crowdcast?

I haven't been able to make it to a movie night so I can't speak to the platform, but I prefer Mondays nights because I know I'll be home and relaxing to a movie after the first day back sounds like fun.

Cuz I’m 8 hours ahead of y’all, so it’s already Monday morning my time when the watch party starts, and I can’t join in cuz I’m sleeping in preparation for work 😔

2023-01-10 02:25:12 +0000 UTCSunday works good for me, i just tend to mis due to scheduling The only alternative i can think of to crowdcast would be discord as others said. I run my movie nights via discord screen sharing. This would also allow you to be on camera yourself if you wanted instead of pointing camera at the movie which was how you were doing crowdcast the last time i caught it (may have changed since then). I kinda assume you are use crowdcast instead as a way to allow non discord users to join though. You do have a good discord community so i do think it may be a good option

2023-01-09 22:12:26 +0000 UTCi guess discord for ppl not getting notifications. but patreon notifications can get kind of lost in either multiple patreon notifications (from other creators) but it still works very well. and i like the sundays. the only other thing i know as an alternative is discord, but idk 🤷♀️. but i like crowdcast!

2023-01-09 21:34:37 +0000 UTC1.) Patreon notifications keep me informed pretty well. 2.) Sunday night works best for me as of now, but slightly earlier in the evening (7?) might be a bit better. 3.) Crowdcast is really good, and the new setup you've been using recently has upped the quality even more.
