There's a Xine I'd love to see! I struggle with real people likenesses too, something about Callisto's face just clicked, maybe because she plays the character in such an exaggerated/cartoonish way it was easier to pin her down? IDK! But I wish I could bottle it. It's really hard not to get too bogged down trying to capture likenesses, don't let it stop you drawing your Xine! I tell myself that it's ok not to be completely accurate since they have iconic costumes and hope that's enough for people to place them

2025-06-12 11:15:51 +0000 UTCI was literally just saying I want to make a Xena zine (a Xine) but I've been struggling to figure out how to stylize her because I'm not used to drawing actual people vs cartoon/anime characters and have been struggling with just how much to keep accurate to the stunning and iconic actresses vs making them very stylized... you captured them perfectly. That glowering Callisto is so dead on!
