Book Club Update + Suggestions for January 2022 Pick
Added 2021-12-01 01:34:15 +0000 UTCI apologize this took a bit longer than planned to get up! My day job got sold so my last two weeks in addition to working on my videos and plans for Patreon updates, that has been going on.
Here's what I've decided. For those who read Childhood's End, this Sunday we will have a book club meeting on Discord (link: https://discord.gg/xyYS98Xe ) at 8pm EST. We will have book club meetings there because it is a bit more intimate.
For next year I've put some thought into it and I want to do two tracks. One will be a book of my choosing that will be a longer read something academic or dense that we will do over time. Two will be the book of the month that we will all ready together for fun, you don't have to do both.
With It's Lit ending, I want something to itch that scratch.
For January the long form book will be the 1619 Project. I had a copy and I've wanted to not just read it, but get into the discourse about it.
As for the other title: leave your suggestions down below and on the 10th of December we will vote and by the 15th we will pick an official title :)

2021-12-01 05:57:46 +0000 UTCIt wasn't saying anything, just taking me to my default Discord page. I just tried clicking the link on my desktop and it worked. I think there was an issue with my computer adding the last parenthesis to the URL which confused Discord. Looking forward to the book club!

2021-12-01 01:45:07 +0000 UTCI'd love to join but I'm struggling to join the Discord. I've connected my Patreon and Discord accounts and tried the link above, but I still can't get access. Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried Patreon's troubleshooting options but no luck so far.
