F--k Sleepy Hollow Part II

Still trying to figure out what the official title of this should be.

There has been a continuing conversation of Black actresses talking about their experiences and it is both frustrating and illuminating.

Promise some fun videos are coming soon XD

F--k Sleepy Hollow Part II

Finally catching up with all your content! I completely agree! I straight up stopped watching as soon as they killed off Abbie. I don't understand how they didn't realise we were all there for Nicole Beharie. Fuck the people who made that decision. I love Michaela Coel. She's seriously underrated with the level of talent that woman has. I will be trying to get HBO back for a minute to watch "I May Destroy You."

Things I will forever be salty about: The treatment of Abbie on Sleepy Hollow The treatment of House Martell/Tyrell, Sansa, the plot holes and ending on Game of Thrones The treatment of Tara on True Blood (didn’t even finish the show) The treatment of Bonnie on Vampire Diaries (didn’t even finish the show) The erasure of Tiana on Once Upon a Time Nicole was expect to be this work mule and wasn’t even giving her quality material. Did Kathrine Heigl even get the same level as Nicole? I really feel like the theory that another (black female) YouTuber made about the Sleepy Hollow writers is being proven to be more true everyday. These non-black writers resented having to appeal to a black audience and once they got that clout thought that they could stay on top after doing a “bait and switch” with us. Also that stuff about Michaela, my heart goes out to her inspired that she knew her worth and had the confidence to stand by it.

Oh lemme double check that and add it in :)

“fuck sleepy hollow” and that’s on Orlando Jones bb. i didn’t realize Nicole Beharie got that sick during Sleepy Hollow - her physical health was severely impacted cause a collation of dickheads didn’t respect her as an actress or a person. the audacity. there’s too many examples of brilliant, talented Black actresses (and writer/directors in Michaela’s case) being treated as expendable - it’s absurd
