SHE-RA VIDEO COMING

It was so amazing and honestly a reminder of how good story writing, worldbuilding, and all of that can allow you to make the kind of narrative in 13 22 minute episodes that shows struggle to fit into 22 episodes or 13 hour long seasons.

I think atonement is more important than “redemption” and I think the show is really good at showing how people can be evil but complex as well. Catra is a villain but we see why and we understand it. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t crossed lines. This season was fire and I can’t wait for five.

2019-11-11 02:24:54 +0000 UTCI love this show so much! This season is on FIRE! I loved the conflict between the best friend trio this season. And Scorpia’s development was amazing. I also loved Double Trouble. And episode 9 had me crying basically the whole time. I love how well written Catra’s arc is, too!!! I don’t believe in “redemption” arcs bc that’s not how anything works imo but I love that she still receives sympathy from the narrative as well as is framed as in the wrong the deeper and deeper she digs. It’s just great! I don’t like the griping over if she’s gone “too far to be redeemed or shipped with” anyone, I just want to see her arc through to completion!
