I enjoyed a few veterans who made an appearance, won’t say who so I don’t spoil anything. It was however pretty underwhelming. I actually haven’t watched wrestling consistently in a few years. I started watching it at 3 years old with my grandparents and probably stopped watching it a few years back.
I used to watch it every Monday (RAW) and Friday (SMACKDOWN) I would be so excited for it to come on too. 😂
I’m talking the old wrestling (when it was way better in MY opinion)
Hulk Hogan , Rock , Randy Orton , Edge , DX ( Shawn and Triple H) , Big Show, John Cena , Trish Stratus , Hardy Boys, Chris Jericho , Kane, Lita , Undertaker, Brock Lesnar , Steve Austin , Kurt Angle , RVD , etc. etc. etc. Soooo many more I know of. 😂😁

In WWF, I was with the Rock All the Way!!! In fact, I still have WWF No Mercy, and it still works just fine (if you played n64) growing up, that is. Anyway, that's my story & I'm sticking to it!! 😄

But I did circle back around and enjoy the WCW Monday Nitro/nWo era as well. I think Scott Stiener is my absolute favorite heel. I think Flair is my all time favorite wrestler. But I did enjoy the classics too - Hulk Hogan, Savage, Piper, Mr Perfect, Jerry Lawler, Mick Foley, and Bobby Heenan. The absolute favorite Royal Rumble is 92. Just watching Flair give it his all. Amazing stuff. Trivia - I live in the Tampa Bay area, and there are a TON of wrestlers that live in this area.

2022-01-30 08:05:56 +0000 UTCHonestly wrestling is a very American thing :P We don't really have it here in Australia, unless you watch it online or specially have the channel for it (I think maybe Foxtel might have it? Not sure). I do love seeing a lot of the famous wrestlers move into acting roles though, for some it's just to look like a beefcake for the role. For others, they really make a meal of it! Dwayne Johnson is obviously fantastic in anything, and I've particularly loved seeing Dave Bautista make his mark on the Marvel Universe! Also, I know I ask this every time, but are you standing up straight here? It's honestly hard to tell these days! You look like you might be leaning over a bit.

I think my favorite from the event was seeing the new girl on there. Her stage name is “doudrop” and she’s a very plus sized girl and man she was getting it. Very interesting to watch! The men’s Royal Rumble was pretty underwhelming. I was hoping a lot more older / veterans would come out.😂
