NOTICE - iOS issue
Added 2021-11-11 16:18:05 +0000 UTCHi, patrons!
Recently, some patrons have been experiencing the problem of not unzipping files through their phones. This issue mainly occurs on the iPhone.
I don't know the exact reason because I don't have a device that uses iOS. However, what I expect is metadata included in the image file. I've been using Adobe Bridge to insert metadata into most of the images I've made since a few years ago. This is a representation of the copyright of the image I made. In addition to the Patron version, the A3D store version also contains the same metadata.
If you are experiencing such a problem, I recommend the following alternative solutions.
- 1. Please use a different OS. I was able to download files and read images from mac OS, window 10, Android without any problems.
- 2. Please download the image viewer from the iOS AppStore. Many image viewers can read "zip" or "rar" files directly without decompression.
- 3. (The solution patron M gave us). Using Winzip app. This app in the App Store will decompress my file into your device.
I will try to solve this issue. To find a solution, I will buy an iOS device and test it. If anyone knows the cause or the resolution of this issue, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
Thank you!! ๐

2021-11-12 13:39:22 +0000 UTCI had this problem- once the zip file was in the โfilesโ app/folder on iOS it would be unable to unzip it- the solution was to download winzip and have winzip unzip the files. After that you can send the unzipped file back to the iOS โfilesโ app/folder
