so... longtime buncharted viewers may know that michelle and i had big plans in 2020 to do some extensive world traveling, starting with asia. however, with new covid shutdowns happening (especially there) seemingly daily, we decided to postpone the asia trip and take a road trip around the US instead while we waited for the planned "europe leg" of our trip to begin...
(well, that didn't happen. but anyway...)
on this trip, we drove across texas. we stopped at the random highway exit that we mentioned in our utrecht patreon video, went to marfa (an art community in the middle of nowhere - there's a fake, full-size prada store in the middle of the desert there), and white sands national park.

There will soon be a new series "Het perfecte plaatje" on television RTL 4, a program in which famous Dutch people (also hobby photographers) enter into a friendly "battle" with each other for the perfect picture.
