Early Designs!!

One of our first posts here on the patreon included the character lineup I drew for my thesis animatic, but I never showed the lineup that I first presented to WEBTOON! Sue & Vlad were designed at that point, and while Sue was pretty straight forward, Vlad took some sketchingโฆ I wasnโt sure I could make a leaf nose work on an anthro, but turns out I could! Regardless everyone looks VERY different now lol ๐ Itโs weird to see how much the art style has evolved since BoF started!
Hana and Mimi werenโt part of the pitch and were only designed when we started working on the episodes. Just like with Vlad I figured out what Hana would look like from Mimiโs design, but unlike with Vlad I fell in love with my first ever sketch!! It actually led to me changing the story drastically โcause I needed way more Hana in my life ๐ ๐
