šŸŽ‰ 1 Month Milestone -- A Journey of Joy, Struggles, and Deepest Gratitude

I just wanted to pause and celebrate a small but meaningful milestone—it’s been one month since this Patreon journey began, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have you here with me.

Let's talk about the content first!

With the latest release of the grapes clip, we have now covered all the most-voted options in the poll -- muffin cakes, marshmallows, snails, fruits and plastic toys. I've also been collecting cigarette crushes, but they are not enough to make up an entire episode. Maybe they will come out as short bonus clips in the future.

Some of the releases didn’t follow the original planned order, as I often shared them right after shooting and editing. This was partly because I wanted to highlight the diversity this channel can offer—but also because I was responding directly to your feedback, especially through the updating poll results.

The message is simple: your voice truly matters here. Every vote, every comment helps shape what comes next.

But that comes with another problem -- everyone has their own preference, which I couldn't satisfy all at once. So what would be the best deal if someone enjoys my work in general but is mainly drawn to a specific type of content or object? In that case, it makes sense to talk about pricing next.

'The Best Price'

In the first month of this channel up to this point, I have released 6 clips for $5 supporter tier and 11 clips in total for $10 collector tier. If you do the math, that averages out to less than $1 per clip. Now, is that because I’m terrible at math… or just too rich to care?

I want to be completely honest with you — I can’t say I hate money (otherwise, why would I even start this channel?). But what I’ve come to realise is that my work only holds real value when it connects with people who genuinely love, enjoy, and appreciate it — people like you.

In my first attempt uploading the stairs clips on YouTube, it really upsets me that many people commented, 'What's the point of this video?' 'Why film it?' or 'Why upload it here?'. That was really discouraging, and I almost gave up the idea of starting this channel.

But I’m so glad I didn’t. I came to realise that my work wouldn't be worth a penny for the wrong audience. So I have to make sure I deliver them to the right ones.

Watching this community slowly grow has been incredibly moving -- I found out I'm not lonely here anymore. You showed lots of love and support with your actual action that proved this was worth doing. That kind of backing means everything to me.

So here’s how I truly see it:

By keeping your membership, you’re not just getting more clips at a better price — you’re actively supporting me in doing what I love. And in return, I feel a genuine responsibility to share the journey and experience with you, not just a selling process.

That said, purchasing individual posts actually supports me even more directly. So if that approach suits you better, I wholeheartedly encourage it too.

My Struggles and Frustration

This is where I want to share with you a little behind-the-scenes story. I have mentioned several times that in some shootings, the ground-level camera didn't work well, and even in some recordings, it was a bit blurry due to an auto-focusing issue.

This candid camera is actually an old phone covered up in a bag, which means it becomes a black box after I click recording and cover it up -- I have no idea whether it's recording and what it's recording.

Everything that could go wrong during the shoot... did.

-Sometimes I misclicked or failed to click record, then only realised after an hour of 'recording (nothing)' ; Sometimes the phone overheats and stops recording; Sometimes the camera angle did not capture anything ... and so on. Luckily, I have now found a way to avoid those issues. And even in the worst case, the alternative camera will make up for it so we will never miss a shot again.

Another thing that I always wanted to share with you is the editing process. Below, I show you what a typical editing of a walkover clip looks like.

The work typically takes hours and include:

-- Hour-long clips reduced to around 10-min long clips

-- Filtering out male parts so you can be very sure you see all the female part

-- Cam 2 matching and solo-mo

-- Editing and sound processing

If I were being lazy, I could just upload the full hour-long clip and leave you to dig through the timeline on your own.

But instead, I put in the extra effort to give you only the essence — the highlights and the best moments from each shoot — so your time is spent enjoying, not searching.

The future plan -- needs your voice

With that discussion about the pricing, I have no intention to increase membership price and I'm happy with the current updating schedule.

But the problem here becomes, I've recorded way more clips than I'm publishing -- that if I stop shooting right now, I still have enough clips to run this channel till 2026 at least.

Those include more snail clips (and even better quality):

Worms:

Grapes meshed into juice:

Bananas stuck under sneakers:

Muffin cakes that never came off her sole:

Toast slices under boots:

and jelly drops in their best shape:

Just a note — those snippets aren’t simply the ā€œvery best momentsā€ chosen to raise your expectations, lure you in, or convince you to stay. In fact, there are hours of footage with the same level of quality, all captured within just the past two weeks.

A big thank you to the members who’ve shared their experience, thoughts and feedback with me — it really helps. I feel like the recent shoots have been getting better. And just whenever I think I’ve captured the best moment… something even more surprising shows up in the next one.

Now, the most important problem arises, and I couldn't solve it myself:

-- 'When can we see these clips?'

The answer is 'Very long’

...... If we stick with the current updating schedule (1 update per week for each tier).

As I mentioned earlier when we talked about pricing, I have no plans to increase the membership fee, and I’m genuinely happy with the current update schedule.

That said, I do feel a little bad for those who joined after seeing the first spoiler post — especially since some of those clips haven’t been released yet. The truth is, I’ve just been filming a lot lately šŸ˜‚ — probably more than I can keep up with in editing and posting.

For those who only enjoy a certain type, it might take a very long time for the next desired post to come at the current pace. To be specific, I'm referring to the group that is specifically into snail/worm clips, which may not enjoy other food stuff, or vice versa. I originally planned to include monthly 2 out of 4 collector's releases for snail content, but it might not be fair for those who only love non-living objects.

That leaves me with very hard decisions that I cannot make on my own. Thus, I have listed a few options I could think of in the poll below. I wish I'm overthinking, and nothing happens if option one gets the most votes.

Otherwise, I'll need to work out a way just to get most of you happy.

Your voice is truly needed here, my friend.

So please don’t hesitate to share. The more I hear from you, the better I can serve everyone here.

With all my heart — thank you.
