Announcement - Poll

Hey guys!

I have been a bit busy in the last few days researching lore and wiki of the Vampire Diaries Series, as well as large parts of The Originals. The reason for this is that someone asked me if I would be interested in writting a fanfiction about this particular Universe as a private comission.

I used to watch the series and started catching up on some of the seasons again while I did my research and to be honest, there is hell of a lot story potential in that Universe.

(Also, but less important, Silas is probably one of the best 'villains' ever. I thought all this doppelganger crap would get boring but he is just such a character after being turned back into a witch. His storyline was also the best by far in my opinion.

Laughed my ass off at some of his scenes, especially the one with the bus stop. For a guy that has been starved and imprisoned for over 2000 years, he is f*cking hilarious and undoubtedly the best version of 'Stefan'. The 'original brand' is definitely the option in that case.)

I would certainly love to make it a transmigration story and the possible options for a start are numerous. Too numerous, in fact. :D

Still, I would certainly enjoy giving it a try, especially since it would be fairly short story considering that the Universe of that world isn't that extensive and there are a limited number of plotpoints to accomplish.

I have also been thinking that this could be the first story with a female protagonist, who is also into girls(obviously). I have a rough concept in mind that I can really see making a good story.

The romance may be a bit complicated but there are a lot of options and I am open to all suggestions since that is a point that I haven't quite figured out yet.

Now, the reason for this poll is that I was just wondering if there was any interest for such a story?

On that end, the story would proabably be around 30 to 40 chapters long, though it might be a bit longer. I can't say for sure at this point since I haven't started writing it yet. Still, it will be comparatively fast-paced with a lot of minor timeskips.

If there is a substantial interest in such a story, I would consider accepting this comission, which would mean that I would be concentrating on that story in addition to one other story, which would naturally be 'The Wanderer', until the story is finished.

Considering the length of the story and other factors, it would probably take me around three months to completely finish it. Alternatively, I could also opt to focus solely on this Vampire Diaries Fanfiction, which meant that it probably take me around 1,5-2 months to finish it.

Personally, I would welcome the chance to devote my attention to a project like that since it is one where the overall direction is easy to grasp and the different plotpoints can be worked out quickly.

Honestly, I have 70% of the story already worked out in my head with the exception of the romance, which is giving quite the headache.
