Emily Blunt probably put a little more humility into it than just macho thugs shooting at each other over stuff I don't care about. Yes, you and GM are both blood thirsty. I think you guys eat, breathe and sleep Valo, but fair enough. I may have sided with letting the family live, but the kids may grow up and try to avenge their father's death, anyway. So, may just be postponing the inevitable. It's a messed up scenario no matter how you look at it. Could also say you spared them the misery of suffering the loss of their father, as well. Enough of that. The fact that we get up close and personal with your nose war is oddly intimate and comforting despite the impression I get of you wanting to rip my head off. I like this one sided quality time we "share." :-)

2023-05-04 08:09:50 +0000 UTCEvidently this movie was good enough to warrant a sequel. I think 3 is fair. Interesting side note, Benico Del Toro and Josh Brolin meet in another film you may have seen or should see . Benico plays the Collector and Brolin is Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.

2023-04-29 02:55:29 +0000 UTCI gotta put my recommendation of Arrival (2016) here again. Sorry to keep mentioning this movie but Sicario and Arrival have the same director. If you a want more smart sophisticated Sci-fi movie with lots of emotion Arrival is that kind of movie. I'm trying not to hype it up much but I was deeply impacted by this movie and think there is a good chance everyone here who hasn't seen it will enjoy. Also has some similarities to Interstellar. TY

2023-04-25 03:02:34 +0000 UTCThis is brilliantly crafted movie. The cinematography is exquisite. The suspense keeps you engaged throughout the film, and the story just flows so well. Even in those small scenes where nothing remarkable happens you can't help but feel something crazy is about to happen. The subject matter here is immeasurably dark. There is no hope in this world of sicario. Because of this movie's bleak story and the environment these characters are constantly surrounded by, it just seeps into you and you just feel this crushing weight of the characters situations in the movie. And yeah it is a lot like the movie Seven where the storytelling just leaves you feeling dirty and joyless in this fucked up world. And while the story overall is not anything new,( It's a drug bust movie with a revenge story intertwined, that we have seen before) it is the directing, the acting, the overall look and craftsmanship of this movie is what elevates this movie that would otherwise be a routine revenge story. And Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro are outstanding, some of their best work. An easy 5 out 5 rating for me. One of the best movies we have reacted to so far.
