Much appreciate the feedback, glad to hear it! I'm proud of how it turned out. BQ is perhaps my most unique series. It's more, plot-driven if that makes sense, then anything I've done since the Sheena stories way back when, and back then I lacked the experience I have now. Obviously they're all *stories*, but by the nature of smut they're often admittedly just kinda excuses to do Femdom stuff, various scenarios to make domming happen in a specific form. But as this is a long-running and higher scale story, there's a lot more character development, more time to do setups and payoffs and the like, more room to stretch out and do some longform storytelling. Asher/Ashley, or the more ambiguous Ash is pretty easily my most developed MC. That's typically a fairly blank slate position. Some are more pervy than others, some are more serious, some mean, some silly and nice, but the focus is never on getting to know those guys obviously. And for the most part I want you to be able to put yourself in the story and all that, sometimes they don't even have names. My second place for this is just Kohai to me, which is simply what a sensei would call a pupil. I'd be lying if I said it was the idea from the beginning for Ash to become a sort of non-binary character. I don't think I had the idea of having him playing the role of a Lucianan soldier when I was doing Chapter 1, I started with a pretty barebones outline. When I did come to that idea, I felt like it'd be a nice subversion to have him actually enjoy it, and when Millis found out, it seemed in character for her to not jump to conclusions and instead take on the role of an ally. With Chapter 6 it was left ambiguous because I wanted to portray it as him maybe not figuring it out himself yet how he felt. At that time I had personally thought of it as Asher essentially just being a femboy I guess, that he'd still ultimately consider himself male but enjoy crossdressing, feel the warm fuzzies when someone called him cute. Four years later, I guess knowing more about gender stuff now, it felt right to me for it to land where it landed. Definitely a bit different! But I'm happy with it.

I really enjoy how much you've characterized Boko's characters too. Leticia seems so much like an actual interesting character to me now, and I adore Millis (I lowkey kinda hope to see her get trained by Auphemia now). Mena definitely stole the show, though. Her development with Asher was really sweet to watch. Ditto for Asher's developing identity. Great stuff all around. Well done.
