2025-03-19 12:53:22 +0000 UTCI wanna correct the chat on your question as to why Ichigo pauses when saying "Ban-Kai". It's not for the dramatic effect as the chat said. In Japanese, bankai means "final release". The word "bankai" has two kanji: ε解 so it's essentially speaking two words. And when written in hiragana it is : γ°γγγ. In english the word "bankai" may be two syllables, but in Japanese they don't go by syllables, they go by what they call "mora" or beats of sounds. "Bankai" has four moras: BA (γ°) - N (γ) - KA (γ) - I (γ) ...that "N" is faintly annunciated which is why there is a brief pause when saying "ban-kai".

2025-03-18 23:25:44 +0000 UTCHERE COMES AIZEN, ONE OF THE BEST VILLAINS OF MANGA HISTORY!!! When i was watching Bleach for the first time i have NO idea that Aizen was behind all this. This is really simple pattern that has been used many times by different writers or filmmakers: "The one, who did it, is the least suspicious". And thats it. If you know this pattern you can guess, who is the antagonist. This was masterstrike from Kubo Tite because, he "kill" Aizen so he was out of the solution. Absolutely amazing.
