10/10 anime. Literally cannot think of a single negative attribute (apart from the heart wrenching scenes).

Violet always knew what "I love you" means, she just didn't know that she knew (the way I wrote that reminds me of scene from Friends lol). She shows love and empathy through her actions and "wanting orders" as that's all she's known before her time at CH Postal. I'm sure she felt at least a little bit abandoned when the major that he wouldn't give her orders anymore because that's when she felt loved by him, even though she didn't know it at the time. I love that the older Bouganvillea brother gave Violet that order to live as she was leaving from her visit to his mom. That was his way of giving her closure. When she told him that she didn't need orders anymore, that was the moment he truly saw her for the first time. He caught a glimpse of her true self on the train, but this is where he really saw her. Violet also finally understands what the major was telling her in all those flashbacks. Just a beautiful story 😭😭😭
