She could have picked up one of the sword lying on the ground where all the dead orcs were instead of carrying the pick axe, but that would have ruined the cute scene when she was simping over our boy.

Sometimes the differences help clarify some parts of the story and other times they add a little confusion. In the manwha, he is called "Fang". In the subtitles I got, it was "Tusk". So it was interesting and probably better that it was "Kiba" here.

2025-02-08 20:35:20 +0000 UTCSo I haven't had any of this show spoiled for me, I don't know what happens in the future. But when the boss referred to him as Lord I feel like that confirms my theory. Jinwoo has some deeper tie to dungeons and magic beasts. His father came out of the dungeon and said that a dark power has awakened that will "devour" everything and turn it against humanity. I believe that is referring to Jinwoo because he can raise things from the dead and make them fight for him, he essentially devours things and then utilizes their power for himself. Plus he got his power from the double dungeon , and we could look at the Double dungeon as being inherently evil. So this evil thing chose to give its power to Jinwoo for some reason. the way the ice elves were talking to him in the first two episodes, it seems like they don't see him naturally as an enemy. Which can only make him an ally. It sounds like it is Jinwoos Destiny to destroy Humanity or something along those lines. Or at least that is what the dungeon intended for him by giving him the power of the Shadow monarch. Also in the first season whenever Jinwoo had to kill that one assassin hunter, the Assassin Hunter said to Jinwoo that his shadow must extend into very dark places and that if you stare too long into the abyss the abyss will stare back. I feel like this hints to us that Jinwoos power is inherently evil and he will become corrupted by it. And the one Mage in this episode referring to his power as feeling "ominous". Ever since Jinwoos dad appeared, I feel like this is the most logical direction that the story could be going. The only thing I have yet to figure out is how did his dad know that a dark power has awakened in the world? Who told him? He was in the dungeon for something like 10 plus years and then randomly appears with Insider information lol. So I think Jinwoos dad and whatever connection he has to the dungeon is also going to be very relevant whenever he meets his son again and sees his power.
