Ruby's face at 02:12 referenced the show Doraemon, as the boy always cry to his robot cat companion for useful tools from the future to solve his problem. Here Ruby's face resembles the face of Nobita's. Didn't you wonder why there the art style looks different? Also Ruby refers her manager mom as Miyaemon, miya from the Miyamoto, emon from word doraemon;)
