The Eklund family Sweden trip. (Full color)
Added 2021-12-14 02:30:59 +0000 UTCFinally finished it! I decided to go with Mr. Eklund's hometown of Gävle for the background! The yule goat has not yet been immolated, so father and daughter can peacefully take photos in front of it.
Fun fact: Their jackets are Fjallraven Nuuk parkas. Mr. Eklund imports hiking gear for a living, so the Eklund household has easy access to high quality outdoor goods. Kara doesn't take much advantage of this, she's content in her nice warm bedroom!
It's a wonder he got her onto a plane to Sweden! Then again, I think she secretly loves spending time with her dad; he certainly loves spending time with her.
I also whipped up an alternative background, partly as a way to test out my quick painting skills. It ended up okay but I'm much more partial to the Gävle goat one.
