Update When?!

So some of you might be wondering when the next update will come out. Good news is I am quite close to finishing stuff up for a test build. While this build won't be completely polished it will allow users to test it out and give feedback and point out any bugs and inconsistencies.

While I didn't want to do it I am going to be splitting up a lot of features of this next update in two parts, so they might be a little under-developed for this first release with them being expanded upon in the next. So you can think of this as a two part update.

This includes the personality system which helps drive girl responses to actions. I have currently only does my first writing pass on it. So the descriptions and responses are still quite generic, I does allow easily expanding upon them though so I hope to slowly improve it as time goes on. This would be even better if I can get enough funding to hire a writer to work on it.

A large portion of my time was also spent working on the framework for the new faculty system that will be introduced and since it wasn't initially planned to be released in this update it has taken longer than expected. So you can expect some placeholder screens until more of its features are implemented.

I could have focused completely on these two systems but I felt some new content was needed to help keep people interested so you can expect and expanded girl/mother line up; more videos to try better match scenarios; some new traits and a new feature to try keep sponsor requests more interesting and challenging.

What is next?

Since like I said this is going to be a two part update for the next part of it you can expect an updated intro story and new exam system which better utilizes new faculty system. It will also introduce bonuses and maluses to the school based on who you having in certain roles.

If there is extra time I would also like to squeeze in reworking and simplifying stats. There are currently too many and all it does is cause confusion. Simplifying it down to just a few stats with a few more helping to define the girls "personality" is the goal.
