YC small fix and a [Research] poll!

So today I bring a small update, just a bugfix.
Sorry for the inconveniences, I always try to get everything working on the first attempt, this month it didn’t work out…

But besides the small update for fixing stuff, I come today with a 3 different polls!
This is mostly for research, the results of this are not necessarily to implement on YC or any other new projects yet. Now, some of you will always say “Just add it as an option”, which of course is doable, granted it takes double or triple the time to develop, but what I’m trying to gauge here is interest. There really isn’t much sense in spending hours developing a feature that only the 1% of players want, when I could have used that time to develop something the 30-40% of players want.
The first one is about skin shininess and sweat.
This has been asked sometimes during Kinky fight club 2’s development, and I kept forgetting about it. So now I want to see if you guys and gals are interested in it. This would work in this way: as your character starts getting more horny/aroused, and after cumming some times, their skin will start to get more sweaty, becoming a bit more shiny.
The second one is a bit more silly.
Would you rather have sex abilities organized by type or alphabetically?
By type: They will be grouped by similar effects, so you will have for example all the rigger type, then all the wrestler type, then all the seducer, etc.
Alphabetically: Exactly that, abilities will be sorted by their name.
The third one is for pure research, and it is about the overall sex gameplay.
On Solas City Heroes and Yaradiel’s crown I applied two different, sort of opposite systems for sexfight attributes.
On Solas City Heroes the characters sex attributes were much higher than the enemies, however, as they started to participate in grapples, and sexual interactions, they started to get tired/horny and their sex attributes diminished. In a similar fashion, whenever they cum they would have their maximum Health reduced.
Overall this design makes for a strong start, but it starts becoming harder and harder the more the player progresses or gets taken down.
On Yaradiel’s crown the character's sex attributes are similar to those of the enemies (yet slightly higher generally), however they get reduced by some status effects, but then return to normal.
This design is different from in SCH, as it makes the player constantly at a similar power level than enemies, and while it gets down temporarily, it gets up back again, making it more of a rollercoaster, rather than a free fall on the combat difficulty.

Which of these two do you prefer?
These two designs are different, because they are part of different games, but I do love both of them, becoming weaker and weaker as you cum more, or having the chance to make powerful comebacks are both styles that I do enjoy.
So yeah, I just wanted to ask about this.

2025-01-19 21:37:08 +0000 UTCSince you're researching the topic, I'll note my thoughts on it: The "Gambling"/"Playing Chicken" of Solas City Heroes is one of my more preferred implementations of sex/temptation as a gameplay mechanic. Having the character's gradual loss of the ability to resist the temptation also mirror the player's gradual loss of their strength helps to kind of "sell" the seduction to me. It's sort of a monkey-brain implied message: "this character is getting weaker and hornier, why aren't you?" Furthermore, it makes the line between losing on purpose to see the lewds, and fighting on, much blurrier (in a good way). In some adult games, you only really see the lewd content if you intentionally let yourself lose. In the Solas City Heroes model, however, the player gradually accumulates "risk" in the form of lost stats + bondage. A player choosing to continue on in spite of the added risk, and a player who continues on because they hope to see the lewds, can be the same player. The player can have both motivations for continuing onward, and receive a reward either way: bonus money if they still win, lewds if they fail. Now, this isn't to say that the YC model isn't any good: it is good, for the game it's in, and I still like it too. But between the two, I prefer the SCH model (Might be biased towards my like of Rougelites). Thanks for giving me an excuse to spout my thoughts on the matter.

Footjobs and spankings (to a lesser extent, mostly involving the sharp sound playing on repeat) just make me tune out and lose interest and forcing me to spend turns trying to change it makes me not want to play. An option to remove those from the random rotation without having to play for hours to randomly unlock individual positions in preferences would go a long way.

2025-01-19 06:45:29 +0000 UTCI like it getting progressively more difficult. Otherwise I can just stay out without resting for what seems like forever. Becoming weaker adds a level of strategy and urgency to getting through the dungeon. Also, and it's just a thought, but I think it would be fun to have those dancing spots being like "King of the Hill" where you can fight one of those elite dancers for a spot, and they can fight you to get it back.

2025-01-19 01:31:49 +0000 UTCI will tell you something that really bothers me in Yaradiel's Crown. There are some sex categories that just annoys me, like footjobs for example. When I fight an Elite enemy that keeps doing footjobs everytime and I must wait for the turns to be able to change the sex position I lose the interest in that fight. Would you consider putting the option to unable some sex positions in the adult settings? Maybe only for long fights or when we get captured.

2025-01-19 01:27:23 +0000 UTCRegarding the HBattles and the Debuff when having a REALLY good time characters/enemies get, since Players get access to a Passive super early that completely prevents that Debuff (I like that said Passive is super easy to get, it's in a great place as a buff) and Enemies thus far don't seem to have any way to Clear/Resist/Be Immune to said Debuff, I personally think that that Debuff on Enemies needs to have it's Duration reduced to SOME degree. It can stack up pretty viciously on H Battle focused Characters imho. Additionally some options in the future to modify Statistics of enemies in the game would be fun I think. Like a New Tab in the Game Customization screen with Sliders to adjust things like Enemy Scaling, HP, Speed etc etc. Sliders should go both ways for that, so a player can choose to give enemies quicker scaling or slower scaling etc. Might be nice to have in the future
