I'm very happy with the reception of Yaradiel's crown first demo. I was scared that you wouldn't like it, or that it would be a total mess.
It has some bugs, which hopefully I fixed for today's hotfix update. This is a bugfix update so there isn’t new content.
One thing I added is the “watch mode” special action, which can be used while on a sexual interaction. This action starts the player AI for 10 turns or until the sexual interaction ends. Player AI will behave based on how you set it up in the adult settings.
I want to thank all of you who are supporting the development of the game. You make this possible, and make all the crunching worth it!

During the next weeks and months I will keep updating the game, adding new features and content.
Many of the systems on the game feel a bit basic, but as I add more stuff they will feel better and more interesting.
An example of this is the stealth and enemy detection systems. They do feel a bit basic right now, but once I improve it, add new mechanics like traps, alarms and bondage, it will become a totally different experience than what it is right now.
Same for the combat. I only introduced you to the most basic combat (since I didn't want to overwhelm new players with 100 mechanics right from the start) but there are many mechanics and fun stuff that you will see in the game soon!
(Examples include: stuns, poison, the whole arousal and fetish systems, tank enemies who protect others, grapplers, restrainers, etc)
As you may notice I'm super excited about this project and all the fun stuff that is to come, so as long as you like and support the project, more will keep coming!

There is a known issue, which I’m still unable to fix completely. Well actually two, one is the inventory bug, where sometimes when you pick up items they won’t show up on the inventory until you relog. I'm not sure why this happens, as this is an issue that I don’t even see in the editor, so I’m trying to fix it blindly.
But the second issue is the more important one. Sometimes when you start the game, the physics engine loads after the player has spawned, and as a side effect the player falls through ground. I’m trying to find fixes for this, and it usually only happens if you leave the game after exiting a shop or customization (however in the customization case you drop to the ground level instead of behind the ground).
I previously added an emergency “net” to catch characters below the ground that basically allows you to use the trigger to move to the central ruins outskirts. However, if you fall below that sometimes you can get stuck. For that reason, I have added the “Scroll of emergency recall” to Tessa’s shop, and reduced the price of the item massively.
In case you didn’t know, this scroll is basically a safeword item, when you use it, you return to your room. It removes all debuffs, restraints (in the future), status effects, and stuff. So please always keep at least 3 of these in your inventory!
(You can now use these even while in combat, something which was always intended but I forgot to implement for the previous release)

I also made a technology tree image, that I will post on the Roadmap in a bit, so you guys and gals can visualize the big features coming later, and what are the “requirements” for each one!

You mentioned how we get 100% increase in credits but I’ve only gotten around more than 10 credits for every battle. Is there a way to earn more credits besides grinding?

By going to the customization area, in the adult settings you can change how undressing works, and select for each piece of clothing. Also whenever you rest on a campfire (there is one near the boss tower on the ruins) all enemies respawn. And so far there isn't a talent that increases grapple power, but rather it increases attack power

I'm only getting 12 credits a battle and I would like to use what little credits I'm getting on outfits, not spend 1000 each time I want to fight the elite mob or the boss. I've gotten around 2000 credits and I've only been able to buy 3 of the 500 credit clothing items. Can you change how clothes are removed? Having just the chest part of a shirt gone is weird, it would make more sense to have it completely removed like with the bra. Same thing with thongs, just having the crotch area removed is weird. Can you have mobs respawn? To get more mobs to spawn I have to save and exit, and with only 135 exp and 12 to 16 credits a fight it will take a lot of fights to get even one decent suit of armor at 3500 each. Also, can you have the packages in the central ruins respawn? It would be nice to be able to comb through and keep picking up items if we wanted during the grind. Also, I'm not seeing my grapple power increase. That's weird since I selected that skill during level advancement. Also, can you make it so we can sprint by holding down the shift key or some other key?

2024-09-25 02:13:18 +0000 UTCDon't suppose you could just lock the player coordinates in place until all the physics wake up, like manually resetting them each update to whatever they were last frame until everything is ready to go? Seems weird that there'd be gravity going on before physics is ready to do collision stuff, but I haven't really poked about with Unity since forever so no idea how those bits work.
