Dungeon Coup update 0.9A

Today is update day!

I don’t have much to say, as I already told you what I've been working on, so, let’s get straight to the new stuff!

What 's new?

Counter!

The big boy of this update, this long-requested feature took a while to add to the game (talk about editing and adding 150+ animations) but here it is, finally!

The old system allowed you to “resist” when completing the pink gauge, now if you complete the pink gauge you will “dominate” your submissives, showing them who still is the boss!

when dominating a submissive, you will change to a more dominating-ish position, (think more of a psychological domination, rather than physical) you will lose less Will each second and when cumming, and when your submissives cum they will lose two lives rather than one (whenever a submissive cums they lose one life, at 0 they despawn and go and take a nap)

Additionally, while dominating, escaping energy cost is reduced 50%!

Keep in mind: I didn’t have the time to test all of the animations, if you see an animation that you think isn’t working as it should please take a screenshot and send it to me or upload to discord, this is the fastest way that I can fix it.


Dirty Talk improvement

The text for dirty talk now will no longer be moved with the camera (when zooming in or zooming out) now it will always stay at the same size, and will still always be pointing at the camera.

New traps!

Three new traps were added:

Also the rope trap has been slightly fixed and improved to properly do what it has to do.

New binding: Yoke!

Added a new binding type: Yoke! This is a new re-imagining version of the old yokes made of wood. This one has steel cords, making it lighter to carry around, and allowing a very small degree of hand movement.


Renamed Torso Tie

The binding option called Torso tie is now renamed to Torso Binder. Why? because

New Rope bindings variant

This player-requested feature replaces the textures or all the bindings to textures or ropes. If you like rope rather than leather or steel, then this is for you!


New Tutorial and new player help

The old intro has been replaced by a new one that is longer and explains the basics of the game better.

Other additions to help new players: Now you will see a Lock icon on the locked levels, and now you will see text showing which floor you just entered.

A new small window shows the Keys to escape or dominate. This small window will last for the first 9 levels you play. (You can just start and leave at floor 1 nine times to make it disappear fast)

Also the console has been upgraded to display more messages, including when a restraint is put on you.


BugFixes

Some bugs were fixed, like sometimes levels not proceeding in the correct order, or gags not being removed for oral movements, or double-restraints being put at the same time.

A few people told me this, but this is a bit unespecific on how exactly feels rough. Have you tried using the mousewheel to zoom out ? or to click to drag the camera while moving? pressing C will make the camera follow the mouse without need for clicking (but the camera will always be behind you so the game can be played one-handed). And what do you with bird's eye? Im trying to find out what exactly causes that feeling.

Just played this for the first time. Really like the concept, the artstyle, and the animations but I was never able to escape from any of the girls no matter how hard I spammed A and D. And secondly, the camera controls pretty rough to manage. It makes it pretty difficult to enjoy any of the scenes let alone navigate through the dungeon, especially when I need to see where the girls are around me so I can dodge them. Often I get stuck in a bird's eye view and it becomes difficult to navigate out of it without surgical precision. I really want to like the game but the camera is just too much of a hassle for me to get into it
