[Research] Project Nexus

Hello everyone, i hope you are having a wonderful day!

Over the last few weeks i been thinking and working and pondering what to do with an issue related to Project Nexus.

As i said a lot of times i want to create adult games with a focus on the gameplay rather than just in the erotica, however Project Nexus is a project way bigger than i initially anticipated and with all the bad stuff that has been happening over the last few months we are very behind schedule. So over the last weeks i been pondering on what direction to take the development of Project Nexus, and i think it will really help me to know what's your opinion on this.

What's the matter?

Well the thing is, im trying to focus on gameplay, but because of that the erotic elements of Project Nexus will be delayed until i can have the core gameplay working 100% of the time with possible interactions betweens systems and do not have any crashes. However, this will make that erotic content won't be added to the game for maybe 3 more months, as we are kind of stuck with a particular nasty bug that crashes roughly 15% of the time.

So we have 2 options to proceed, both options seem reasonable enough for me, but im interested in your opinion, as you guys and gals are the ones making possible for us to work on the game.

Option 1: Focus on the gameplay, delay the erotica.

This is what we are currently doing, but it is going way slower than expected.

Option 2: Focus on the erotica, delay the gameplay.

With this option we will focus on adding dialogues, interactions and sex to the game, rather than RPG and combat gameplay.

Keep in mind, the final product will be the same, we are only altering the order of the products based on our customers feedback :D

Another thing, unrelated to this (well slightly related) is that we are working on the AI system for Dungeon Coup, and boy we spent a lot of hours lately on that and we can't get it working as we want. We still have a small annoying issue occurring that we can't find where it comes from. Once we have fixed that issue we will update Dungeon Coup, but it may take us a few days more, so sorry for the delays. Murphy's law is hitting us hard since the start of the year T_T
