They are possibly pushing into messy territory and know it could get in the way of their own goals. Which shal clocked after saving sissera's daughter and got moody about it. Sucks to be so hot for eachother. And yes, entire mission sissera sent her daughter out was for the magic strap lmao...that gave me a good laugh

Rescuing Sissera's daughter makes it feel more personal than what she's probably used to or comfortable with, maybe some unwanted feeling (not saying Shal is falling in love or some sort of paternal instincts) its something that could get messy is things were to go south. Now taking into account that Sisseda trusted Shal with the rescue of her daughter...that is not something she'd do lightly. I do wonder what kind of artifact it is that would make Shal's...Inconveniences worth it. (~~a magic stra-*gets shot*~~)
