Tumblr Termination

Well then you guys, like the title says; my tumblr got shut down because of Nintendo. As you can see above, my stuff would have harmed their reputation which was the main reason for taking the blog down.

This was actually my own fault to be honest. I should have paid more attention to my Gmail received messages on social networks tag, even though the majority are simply notes about who just liked or reblogged my posts. It also seems like they started to send me several warnings lately and they also have removed most of my Nintendo dedicated stuff on tumblr as well. This was so stupid from me, since I was pretty confident about following their main rules and keeping everything polite over there. I can only hope that they are not going to hunt for my stuff on Patreon, too.

Seriously it feels really sad to see how my own personal blog got terminated. The greatest thing I have ever set up on the internet to represent and share my passions with others just vanished in an instant. On the one hand, it is great not to get anon messages anymore, from so called "friends" about how bad my stuff looks like and my lack of 3D knowledge and education. It is true that I started animating as just a hobby, but I think I grew well over the time, especially because through you guys. So this is why I am always so happy about your feedback given. On the other hand the sad feeling about the huge loss of that many followers who appreciated my work, just gone for nothing so it seems.

Nevertheless I do not intend to start a big discussion on this post here, since I have gone through that with my friend Lesdias several times, when his tumblr blog got shut down more than twice back then, too. Though in his case it was about haters reporting him, because he had arguments with them. Plus there seems to be no way in restoring the site, since tumblr does not either want to respond or show interest in that case. Les is still waiting for a response for weeks now, but I will still try to get in contact with them as well and hope for the best.

Anyway nothing is going to change for you guys on Patreon here because of that, so don't worry. I just wanted to calm down by sharing my thoughts on this termination. We are going to continue as we did, aiming for awesome content and quality improvement. Thank you guys for listening and enjoy the rest of your week.
