Lupa was comfort and safety for wq during the war of trying to reclaim her throne, she only find rest with them watching over her. It helped stop the memories plaguing her. Even now many years after she got her throne and killed all those who betrayed her family she still seeks out lupa.
Essentially, lupa is a good cuddle if she wants to have a solid sleep. WQ is also a heavy drinker and will stumble her way to lupa's bed.

And how your drew Lupa, it's not just practically caging WQ with her body, but the intensity of her eyes that shows how much WQ means to her. And the addition of the scars show they've been through a lot and finding one another was a blessing for both. I already liked these characters, but this picture made me love their relationship. Awesome job.
