Its not clear why but damsel wants to establish a friendly relationship with the other dragon, which only amused empusa. Red dragons were known to be the most vicious, but they are the most loyal if you can get them on your side.
So with some help damsel accuired an offering that would be valuable to empusa
Damsel better have some sweet presents for empusa or its going down, or i should say the person she dragged along to get it.
