IWTV 1x06: Hi G&R - This episode is one of the best representations of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) on screen, from Lestat's love-bombing gifts, to his feigned vulnerability (Magnus story) to his reaction when Claudia refuses to finish the chess game. In NPD when a partner disengages, it causes the narcissist to shift from grandiosity to abusive behaviors to regain control. Q?: At this point do you still see love in this family, or is there a more clinical lens to view this story? (Note: Roughly 75% of victims killed by intimate partners are killed at the point of separation or just after they leave abuser. This is easily reflected last ep when Louis almost left and this ep w/ Claudia on train. Only 10% of victims leaving an abusive relationship experience no further violence.)

My question is if Maxine lived in the 2020's, what path to fame do you think she'd take? Do you think she'd go a more traditional Hollywood film route?
