2025-10-08 07:24:48 +0000 UTCSo glad you reviewed this film! As a black woman who grew up in a Washington suburb, that caution and anxiety is REAL. There is so much attention to detail that this movie, along with Jordan Peeleβs other films, warrants a second or 3rd watch. It is similar to another movie: Skeleton Key that starred Kate Hudson from 2005. But this film was unique in that it is one of the few films about the black experience that is done from a Black gaze. I canβt wait to see Jordan Peeleβs next contribution to the Cinematic arts!
