What I love about the addition of the hanging tree song is how you really understand. The hatred snow has for it in the end when katniss is using it against him. Katniss unknowning who wrote that song but probably heard sung in her district for years. When snow saw katniss on the screen singing that song i bet that he immediately thought about Lucy gray, a true insight on why he was so fascinated yet hated katniss. She reminded him of Lucy and knew the power she had and wanted it weaponize for himself. Also i love seeing his love of roses being shown in a subtle yet not subtle way with his mother always smelling like them as. Lucy loving them aswell. I loved this book and movie so much! And the nods to how the games devolop was a chefs kiss, can’t wait for the sunrise of the reaping !!!
