2025-07-29 01:33:24 +0000 UTCJust a reminder: it's VERY illegal/dangerous for them to clue in anyone on the Upside Down or anything that happened in the previous season. It's understandable that Max would get upset and it makes sense to want to take her side, but they actually shouldn't tell her anything. Both for Max's safety and their own. You didn't seem to remember, but Max actually was included in the first meeting about Dart when they didn't know what he was yet. Mike never intentionally left her out until Will told him that Dart was from the Upside Down. Once the UD got involved, then Mike knew better than to tell her anything. He didn't want her there, yes, but he didn't actually do anything to keep her away until it became legitimately dangerous to include her. Sorry for the long comment, people just misunderstand Max being left out quite often, and as the local Mike Wheeler defender I like to explain more of his POV here.
