Episode Synopsis: Kagaya's Kasugai Crow suddenly appears in front of Tamayo and invites her to the Demon Slayer headquarters — even though she is a demon. Meanwhile, after receiving a letter from Kagaya at the Butterfly Mansion, Tanjiro pays a visit to Giyu, who is not participating in the Hashira Training. At first, Tanjiro is rejected by Giyu but patiently continues to try to talk to him. Giyu, who gives in to Tanjiro's persistence, begins to share the reason why he won't participate in the training.

I don’t know what it is about this show specifically, but I can’t help but get emotional alongside the characters. Especially in regard to Tanjiro. He definitely was the perfect person to pick for the job of trying to get through to Giyu. His persistence has shone in many ways throughout the show in his battles against each demon he comes across. However it being used in a way to reach out to someone who has so adamantly withdrawn himself from his peers is compelling to me. Tanjiro’s fierce drive of seeing things through even if he isn’t sure how he’s going to get to his goal in such an earnest way makes me root for the little guy always! I’m so hype to see you get through this season and uncover what else it has in store :0)

2025-01-14 15:32:48 +0000 UTCI like how Tanjiro wasnt sure how he should go about talking with Giyu, as someone who has been on both sides of not feeling like enough/ having depression and wanting to help someone who was feeling that way, its hard to figure out what that person needs. Sometimes they do need space and sometimes they need persistence, it depends on the person and the situation, but Tanjiro is such a kind soul so I'm glad he was able to get through to Giyu. In My head I think that even though Sabito was very skilled and was the best demon slayer candidate of that year, that maybe thats where his strength would have peaked. He killed nearly every other demon except the big one which he died to but Tanjiro was able to kill. So maybe if he did survive that he might not have been able to go far and Giyu wouldnt be as strong as he is now because he only became that strong from the motivation of his death. Also fun fact when Giyu says Sabito left him with another boy we can see that boy is Murata the Demon slayer we met in season one in the spider family arc I love how many things connect. Also I think youre a little confused on why Shinobu isnt doing the hashira training, in the beginning the crow was telling Tamayo that they wanted her to work with Shinobu in looking into Nezuko and trying to defeat Muzan, that why she isnt able to partake in the training as she will be busy and its also why she was stressed and angry because she has to work with a demon which she hates (im pretty sure). Anyways super excited for the next one I cant wait until you get to the end.
