hoboman2

Are the Shejects going to do a watch along for the rest of the Terminator films?

Tron of Seven

Its due to the heat from the factory they are at and him being made of a liquid metal than can change shape.

🫢 I must’ve watched the alternate ending

I read a couple things about why he didn't mimic Sara at first, 1. in the original theatrical release, The T-1000 never really heard her voice to mimic her, he doesn't tell she faces him in that scene and says FU.. after that he does mimic her voice. And another possibility is that after getting frozen and then melted back he doesn't have all the same functions as he before, as it showed the feet a few times having problems as well as glitches like when he grabbed the black and yellow safety rail his hand changed black and yellow as was rubbery etc. So he may not yet have all the functions back to 100%. I've hear both of those were reasons and they make sense.

Haha I scroll down and someone else already made the same comment. Dang it

I watched this reaction yesterday and loved it, but didn't have time to leave a comment. Fantastic job, guys. You mentioned the moment when the T-1000 makes Sara call for John as a plot hole. Every time I see this movie, I've wondered about that. I'm in the middle of watching another reaction to the film now, and after seeing this movie hundreds of times (including back when it first came out), I think I just figured out why he did that! If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me, but if I'm right, I can't believe it took me that long to get it. So, the problem you're seeing is that if the T-1000 can imitate anyone's voice, why would it need Sara to call for John, right? Why did the bad Terminator force Sara to do it rather than just doing it himself? Remember in the scene with the dog, the Arnie Terminator imitated John's voice and tricked fake Janell into revealing that it wasn't her, that she was really the T-1000 in disguise. Because of that moment, the T-100 learned that sometimes when he mimics, he says and does things that aren't perfect imitations and accidentally exposes himself. We see that he realized how he screwed up when he sees that the dog's name is Max, and not "Wolfie", as the Arnie T implied. Now that the T-1000 knows that, when it needs Sara to call for John, to insure it doesn't do anything to tip John off that it isn't really his mother, it has her do it. I think that may have even been part of the purpose in showing the T-1000 seeing the dog's name, to show us that he knows he sometimes messes it up. Funnily enough, the part where it sees the dog's real name and kills Max isn't in the theatrical, so in the theatrical release, having the T-1000 force Sara to call for John does look like a plot hole. Which might be partly why I didn't get it, except that i have seen this version many times too, and it only clicked just now. Again, excellent reaction. One of the best I've seen.

My sync was messing up a lot until I saw it was the special edition. I don't have that one. Dang

hoboman2

The problem is i think some people compare it with T2 in mind

Tron of Seven

Agreed! The ending was a ballsy one! - PLD

The Reel Rejects

To say that I LOVE this movie is an understatement!! Like Greg, and probably a handful of other millennials, I saw this one before I saw part 1 and have loved it ever since. There are ZERO bad parts. What a great Christmas gift. Merry Christmas Rejects!!! 🎄

Adrianna Marie Aka AD

The next one Terminator 3 is underrated...only the Arnold stuff was bit off to goofy.

Tron of Seven

Fun facts : It was in the original script but never filmed is The terminator from the 1st movie , Kyle Reese and T-1000, The Terminator (T2) where sent 10 mins apart in diferent time 1984 and 1994 Also if anyone saw the movie Contact (with Jodie Foster) the machine (Sphere) she gets into was an original design create in storyboard of T2 it was going to be the time travel machine. Linda's twin her name Leslie Hamilton unfortunately she passed away a few years ago.

Tron of Seven

Even the extended version is great which has even more footage then the special edition

Tron of Seven

Great reaction! I don’t think the part where the T-1000 tried to force Sarah to call out to John was a plot hole. He kept her alive so John would attempt to save her. When that failed, he copied her. Plus, I think he needed to hear her speak to mimic her voice, so in the end, she gave him exactly what he needed by refusing.

Doug's Night Terrors

You're very angry and I'm sorry for that. Happy holidays to you and yours... -PLD

The Reel Rejects

Found the version 👍🏿 This sequel is one of the few sequels that tops the 1st (considering how much I love the 1st), but this movie is just amazing and takes me back to endless amount of times Ive watched this as a kid. But this was actually the first time Ive seen this extended cut- so good! If Tara and Roxy havent seen some other Arnold movies, they may need to take a stroll down Arnold lane lol: *Kindergarten Cop *Twins *Total Recall *Commando I think they’d like those

Jacxon Ryan

Twinda Hamilton is her sisters name. Also, there’s another terminator arm floating around. In the metal factory, Arnie loses his arm and they never get it to destroy it…

Grand Moff Slackin'

Theatrical is good but not great in comparison. So much more exposition. Not to mention the "cameo".

☆C~H~A~N~D~L~E~R☆

dang... not the version on 4K. Wonder if Cameron will ever put together a 4K special edition. I think even he prefers the theatrical on this one.

djKENTO

I like the additional scene of the T-800's chip removal but there's so much exposition on its removal and how to reset it to 'learning mode' that it slows down the pace of the movie. Sometimes more isn't always better.

ButtercupsTrueLove

How about a shout out for Jenette Goldstein who played John's foster mom, Janelle. I think her best known role was as Private Vasquez in James Cameron's other film, "Aliens" (1986). She's got a small scene or two in "Titanic", also.

ButtercupsTrueLove

But LoTRs HAD to be theatrical, huh..................Fucking BULLSHIT.

Diiirk706

Yay!! Merry Christmas!! My favorite one I was so much hoping yall did the special edition one 😍😍😍
